In social studies, students made treasure maps. Students also learned about their place on the map--starting from their school/home all the way to our planet.
In reading, students have worked with a partner to research an animal. We are still putting together our final reports! We had a Four Winds lesson where we learned about owls and even got to dissect owl pellets! The students worked so hard to carefully excavate and identify the animal bones! In math we built 2-D and 3-D shapes with straws, paper, and blocks. We used composite shapes we created to make new shapes. Students also used pattern blocks to make a picture. Students were engaged and worked so hard! Comments are closed.
